2022 Veterans Day Restaurant Discounts:
Veterans Day Free Meals To honor members of the military, these restaurants are offering veterans free meals on or around Veterans Day, Nov 11. Disciple Learner Resources hosted a Columbus Day Men's Kayak and it was a huge success. The men gathered for prayer and then went down the Colorado river for 6 miles in their kayaks and afterwards were met with a catered Bar-B-Q meal from Bubby's Bar-B-Q. Bubby's was there custom slicing the brisket to each persons liking!
After the amazing meal there was a men's Bible study that Jesse led. Each man that attended was given a bag full of materials like Bible Study resources, devotional, Following Jesus book by Charles Spurgeon and other awesome stuff to encourage them in their faith. The men that attended were absolutely blown away by the encouraging time they had and were expressing their gratitude after the event. The Re-Imagine Education EXPOJune 25th we were in person at the Re-Imagine Education Expo at Round Rock Texas. It was an incredible opportunity to show the community our heart for freely sharing books and resource materials with people desiring to grow deeper in their understanding and walk with Jesus Christ as his disciple. If you won a raffle congrats! We contacted all the winners the same day and they have all picked up. Keep in mind all you need to do is contact us if you are searching for a resource.
Prayer for people within the community is an essential part of our mission. We attempt to pray over each person we come in contact with and also pray over the materials. Please join us in prayer. The Emancipation of Slavery aka Juneteenth Celebration at Smithville Texas our non-profit organization was present handing out free books and resources advocating for a Christian approach to race and non-violence encouragement. We were able to pray with people that came up to our table.
